The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

Description: Perched on a hilltop with exquisite panoramic view over unspoiled wilderness and often-prolific game waterhole. African-style thatch with ethnic decor and private balconies overlooking the waterhole. In 2012 voted Zimbabwe’s Best Safari Lodge for the 17th successive year and one of the Gold List Top 22 Safari Lodges in Africa by Conde Nast Traveler. Only hotel facing west for glorious sunsets.

Restaurants: Makuwa-Kuwa (seats 150) high-quality restaurant overlooks waterhole and magnificent vista. The Boma – Place of Eating is an ethnic eating and entertainment experience that is the most popular in town. Seats maximum 300.
Conferences: Cool thatched Indaba Room for 80 delegates plus a superior boardroom for 14 overlooking the waterhole.

The Victoria Falls Hotel



Location: 10-minute walk to Victoria Falls. Short walk to two other hotels (The Kingdom and Ilala Lodge) and to shopping centres, banks and craft market.

Description: Grand Raffles-like colonial-style hotel of Victorian grandeur, built 1904 and the only hotel with view of gorges, Zambezi River, famous bridge and spray of the Falls. Elegant and gracious it is set in lush tropical gardens.
Facilities: Spa, hair salon, superb colonial-style pool.
Restaurants Livingstone Room (120 max) is an elegant classic of opulence and grandeur with dance floor. Jungle Junction, with superb view of the bridge and Falls spray, features the flavours of Africa and seats 140. The Stanley Terrace (100 pax) also features a compelling view and is famous for its high tea.
Conferences: Facilities suitable for small meetings in boardroom-style Centenary Room (18 max) and the Pullman Suite (40 classroom).

The Victoria Falls Safari Club

Description: The new flagship of Africa Albida Tourism’s Victoria Falls Safari Lodge (VFSL) property. Opened August 2012 adjacent to VFSL with same vista, but an exclusive, butler-service wing on a superior level.
Facilities: Mini bars, large digital safes, complimentary Wi-Fi, exclusive club lounge, butler-service, private check-in, complimentary afternoon tea and pastries, complimentary sunset cocktails and snacks, private viewing deck, light meals, complimentary shuttle service to town and the falls.
UPDATE: The Club now means there are 92 quality 4 and 5 star rooms on property, plus the 37 2-and-3 bedroom self-service Lokuthula Lodges.

The Elephant Camp



Location: 10km from Victoria Falls; 15km from the Airport.

Victoria Falls River Lodge



Location: 10m from Victoria Falls within the Zambezi National Park.
Size: Seven luxury en-suite air-conditioned tents (3 are family tents that take three children).

Description: The first and only private game lodge set within the Zambezi National Park. Opened in April 2012 it is a luxury and fine dining camp on the banks of the Zambezi River within sight of the spray of Victoria Falls. The spacious tents can hardly be called “tents” as the only visible canvas is on the outside – these rooms are air conditioned with free standing baths and indoor and outdoor showers. Viewing deck near the river and lounge.
Activities: Fishing and cruising the river from the lodge. In-room massages, pedicures and manicures.

Elephant Hills Resort



Location: 3km from Victoria Falls.

A’Zambezi River Lodge

Location: 6km from Victoria Falls

Description: Only hotel situated on the banks of the Zambezi River near the entrance to the Zambezi National Park.
Restaurants: Amulunga (meaning “by the river”) is an open-sided thatched restaurant for 180.
Conferences: Dedicated room for 80.
Activities: Only hotel with its own jetty at your front door for Zambezi River cruises or fishing.
