The small tourist town of Kasane, straddled along the banks of the Chobe River, is adjacent to Chobe Park, close to the Zimbabwe and Zambian borders at Kazangula and boasts a small but clean and modern international airport 7kms away. Chobe is most often accessed by road (a 90-minute drive) from Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) or Livingstone (Zambia). The common border for all three of these countries is Kazangula, which is also the place where the finger-like Caprivi Strip of Namibia touches the Zambezi River. This is the only spot on earth where four countries meet.
Air Botswana operates ATR aircraft schedule flights to Kasane (BBK) from Botswana’s capital city Gaborone. Kasane has a 2,000m runway. Moremi Air Services is a reliable air charter company.
