TURKISH TO DOUBLE CAPACITY TO SA

Southern Africa is experiencing a steady griowth of tourists and the re-emergence of the international Incentive & Conference markets. With the new Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) international airport and long-haul runway set to open in July 2015 there is much anticipation (and speculation!) about which airlines will be first in, direct from Europe and elsewhere, with wide-bodied jets.

Emirates, Qatar, Turkish, SAA, Kenya, even BA have been "whispered" about but all is hearsay...but MICE planners watch this space!

Meanwhile various airolines are announcing increased flights. For example, Turkish Airlines will double capacity to South Africa from October 2015 with a direct Cape Town - Istambul and Johannesburg - Istanbul using A330-300 aircraft.
